Fullmetal Alchemist Episode 35 : Reunion of the Fallen

Fullmetal Alchemist Episode 35     6783248-7811588590-5402a

At the bar, Lust and Gluttony meet up with Envy, who Lust informs about Greed's death. Envy doesn't apply because their master can make a new one and mentions that the current Wrath is with Sloth. When Lust questions the meaning of where their lives will go, Envy replies that they are alive now and not going anywhere as he kills the bar owner and lets Gluttony eat his body. Lust remembers asking herself this question once before. At that moment, a car accident occurs outside, in which a man is injured. A person named Lujon appears on the scene and uses an incomplete Philosopher's Stone to treat him as Lust enters the crowd. After saying thank you, Lujon notices Lust and the two recognize each other.

Meanwhile, Edward Elric, Alphonse Elric, and Winry Rockbell travel south by wagon, hoping to catch up with the Ishvalan refugee camp so Ed can get information on the Philosopher's Stone, as it is the only lead they have. Ed heard the woman's screams and came to her aid, quickly beating up the group attacking her for calling him a shortcut.

Lujon meets Lust at a bar and wonders how she's been since he's seen her for two years, and also why she disappeared. While Lust feigns ignorance, Lujon remembers what she taught him and leaves his village to find a new stone as the disease he was treating with this stone has reappeared. With the stone weakened, Lujon asks Lust to help him again.

It turns out that two years ago, Lust met Lujon when she and Gluttony came across a carriage damaged by a mudslide and met an injured woman named Lydia, the same woman that Ed saved in the present. Lydia was trying to get some herbs for her village when rescuers including Lujon came to help. Lujon scolded Lydia for her foolishness and revealed a mysterious fossilizing disease spreading through their city.

Back in the present, Lydia reveals to the Elrics and Winry that she is trying to find Lujon and mentions that he is probably trying to get a new Philosopher's Stone to cure their village of their epidemic disease.

In the past, Lujon was healing Lydia when some villagers came to let him heal a boy named Anji whose body had started to turn to stone due to an illness. Lujon tried to cure him with alchemy, which failed and killed Anji. As Lydia also suffered from the disease, Lust watched as Lujon cried desperately and remembered Scar's brother trying to save his lover's life. Lust recognized his healing method and decided to help Lujon perfect his alchemy so that it could save the townspeople.

In the present, Scar, alone in the desert, desecrates the grave to collect the locket.

As Lujon travels with Lust and Gluttony, he admits that his real reason for leaving his village was to see Lust again, and she admits that she has already seen him because of the memories she has from two years ago.

As the Elrics and Winry take Lydia back to her village, she admits that Lujon dumped her. In the past, Lust has helped Lujon find the right books to read. As Lydia watched them, Lust experienced another flashback involving Scar's brother and his fiancée.

After spending a large amount of time studying and drawing the correct transmutation circle, Lust gave Lujon a stone and then attacked the bird so that Lujon could use the circle and stone to save it. He then thanked Lust, unaware that the bird had died after traveling a short distance.

Back in the present, Lust gives Lujon a new stone, and she then remembers how Lydia confronted her in the past about taking Lujon from her, whom Lydia mentioned she would marry once her illness was gone. Then she got sick. Lujon was able to use the stone's power to save Lydia and the villagers. Little do they know that the disease was caused by Envy, and it was part of the Homunculi's plan to have Lujon stop the disease, which would only be temporary, and then take that power away from her to force Lujon to make the Philosopher's Stone out of desperation. On his wedding day, Lujon confessed his love to Lust, causing another memory to surface involving Scar's brother. When Lydia saw them, Lust invited Lujon to follow her.

In the present, Lujon and Lust arrive at the village, allowing Lujon to once again save the villagers. That night, Lujon confesses how much he loves Lust, forces Lust to kill him to make up for her little mistake, and now sees him as worthless. Without the stone's power, the village is in turmoil as the villagers succumb to disease.

The next day, the Elrics and Winry see the carnage in the village as Lydia moves forward in search of Lujon. By the time the Elrics and Winry catch up with her, Lydia has also succumbed to the disease and died in Lujon's arms. As Ed rages at the sight, Lust and Gluttony leave in the carriage. Something is clearly bothering Lust.
