He discovers that he uses a red stone that amplifies his alchemical powers and creates the illusion of miracles. The Elric brothers confront Cornell and expose his deception to the townspeople. During the confrontation, Edward reveals the true nature of the red stone and defeats Cornell with his alchemical abilities. The episode ends with Edward and Alphonse leaving Lior and continuing their journey to find the Philosopher's Stone in hopes of recovering their bodies. Along the way, they aim to uncover the secrets of alchemy and its connection to the Philosopher's Stone, all while facing the consequences of their past actions.
